FlyingWith Weekly Brief
The week's aviation changes that affect your trip
Once a week, the FlyingWith Weekly Brief collects the aviation changes that actually change a traveller's next decision: a baggage rule that took effect, a strike called off, routes cut for the season, fees rising on a ticket issue date, a new law that is real but not yet in force. If a story does not change what you should do, pack, check or pay, it does not make the brief.
Every edition is curated and written by hand. Items are few on purpose — five at most, and fewer in a quiet week.

How each item is sourced and verified
Every item is checked against its primary source before publication: the airline's own notice, the regulator's rule, the union's statement, the text of the law. Each fact carries its date, and the primary source is linked on the item so you can verify it yourself. Where a figure comes from press reporting rather than the source's own published schedule, the item says so and labels the figure as reported.
FlyingWith is an independent publication. It is not an airline, a travel agency or part of any airline group, and no airline reviews or approves this brief. Editions carry no named author: they are researched and written by the FlyingWith editorial team, and the organization stands behind them.
