How it works

Create the trip
Give it a name, pick the main currency and add your own name. No account, no email, no password. You get a share link straight away.

Share the link and log costs
Anyone with the link can add people and expenses as you go. Each expense records who paid, what it was for, and whether it's split evenly or in amounts you set yourself.

See who owes whom
Balances update as you add expenses, and are reduced to the smallest set of payments that settles the trip. Export the whole thing to CSV whenever you like.
What's different about it
- No accounts. Nobody signs up, and there's no password to share with your group.
- It works by link. You send one link; anyone who has it can view the trip and add to it.
- It deletes itself. A trip is removed automatically after 90 days with no changes.
- It exports. One click gives you a CSV that opens in any spreadsheet.
A worked example
Alex, Sam and Jo are on a trip together, splitting everything three ways.
- Alex pays €60 for a taxi from the airport. Split evenly, that's €20 each.
- Sam pays €45 for groceries. Split evenly, that's €15 each.
Rather than listing four separate debts, the tracker nets it down to two payments: Jo pays Alex €25, and Jo pays Sam €10. Alex and Sam are square with each other.
Balances are worked out separately for each currency you use. There's no conversion between them, because that would need an exchange-rate source this site doesn't have.
What it doesn't do
- No payments. It works out who owes whom; moving the money is up to you.
- The link is the key. Anyone who has it can view the trip and add to it, so share it with your group and not more widely.
- Owner controls live in one browser. Replacing the share link or deleting the trip only works from the browser that created it, and clearing that browser's site data loses the ability for good. There are no accounts, so it can't be reissued.
