You can also compare a city stay for the main trip with a different property for the final night. Include the time to pack, change hotels and move luggage before deciding whether that extra move is worthwhile.

Paris je t’aime, the official tourist office, lists the RER B as a connection between Charles de Gaulle and central Paris. Its CDG guide also describes the CDGVAL connection within the airport. The Orly guide lists metro line 14 as a connection to Paris.
Use those routes as a starting point, then check current services for your date and time. A route between the airport and the city does not establish the route between a particular hotel and your terminal. Ask the property for the exact stop, walking section and any transfer it expects you to use.

Put both options on the same basis: the room for your whole party, required fees, transport in both directions and anything you will need to buy separately. Keep prices in the same currency when comparing.
